Benedek Kovács - is a partner in the Commercial Corporate, Real Estate and Tax Practice Group of Baker McKenzie’s Budapest office. He has advised Hungarian, multinational commercial and real estate sector clients on real estate transactions, developments and construction in Hungary, and also has considerable experience in commercial and real estate related litigation matters. Jonna Wojnarowska -is with Baker McKenzie in Warsaw, specializing in real estate and construction transactions. Her professional experience includes representation of investors in matters related to real estate transactions such as site acquisition and disposal, construction matters, “green field” investments as well as development and commercialization of office and retail investments throughout Poland. Lina Nemchenko - is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s Real Estate Practice Group in Kyiv who practices mainly in real estate, corporate, employment and migration law. She has headed the Employment & Migration practice since 2011. Ms. Nemchenko has been named Leading lawyer by Legal 500 EMEA 2016 Directory and cited by Chambers Europe for her "deep experience in handling the peculiarities of Ukrainian law." Chambers Global has also ranked Ms. Nemchenko as a leading individual in her area of practice for many years. In 2016 according to the research project Ukrainian Women in Law conducted by Yurydychna hazeta (the Ukrainian weekly). Ms. Nemchenko was listed among the 24 most successful female lawyers in Ukraine. Ms. Nemchenko has extensive experience advising local and foreign investors on a wide range of matters related to investing in various types of commercial, industrial and agricultural real estate in Ukraine, including by means of establishing a joint venture between an international investor and a Ukrainian partner. She has assisted landlords and tenants of major Kyiv business centers and shopping malls in drafting and negotiating lease and other contracts. Ms. Nemchenko’s track record includes advising Firm clients on establishing real estate investment funds with a focus on Ukraine.
She also regularly advises clients on data protection and general labor law.
Dr. Neil Blake - has direct responsibility for the pan-EMEA research teams of CBRE based in London and also coordinates the research output of the 24 country research team’s across the EMEA region. He also leads in the development of CBRE’s economic and real estate performance outlook in EMEA as well as being closely involved with the co-ordination of CBRE’s global outlook.
Neil joined CBRE from Oxford Economics, the economic forecasting consultancy, in 2012 where he was Director of Economic Analysis and had primary responsibility for the analysis of international cities and regional services, commercial property, housing and retail markets, as well as global macroeconomic and financial sector analysis. Prior to joining Oxford Economics in 2008, Dr Blake was a founding director of Business Strategies Limited, which became part of Experian in 2002.
Charles Vernon-is a partner with Vernon | David, an international law firm with offices in Bucharest, Romania and Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions and corporate finance. He has extensive experience in M&A and real estate matters and during the last several years has completed billions of dollars in such transactions in Eastern Europe.
He has represented major oil companies, retail operators, port operators, hotels, mining companies and telecommunication firms in relation to a series of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, including advising on asset and share acquisitions, project financings, competition matters, privatizations, concession agreements, group restructurings, litigation, and post-acquisition operations and activities.
Charles has also advised a variety of borrowers and banks in lending transactions including syndications and bonds. During the course of his finance work, Charles has represented some of world’s largest banks and financial institutions in Romania, Slovakia and the Middle East.

Anthony Selman - was previously Partner, Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield for Central and Eastern Europe, and became Head of Investment Properties for Central & Eastern Europe CBRE on September 1st, 2016. He has worked on deals in Russia, Latin America and CEE (Poland). In Poland he has landed a number of significant deals on behalf of clients such as Rockspring, CBRE GI and Tristan Capital Partners. He focuses on new business development across CEE and well as coordinating cross border transactions.
